The Illawarra On Pointe Productions Concert Orchestra was excited to present Prokofiev’s musical story of “Peter and the Wolf” to students of all ages in 2017. It is a fantastic thirty minute program that features twenty of our exceptional musicians and an entertaining narrator. Telling the story of a courageous child and his animal friends outwitting a ferocious wolf, “Peter and the Wolf” is a great introduction to classical music and the instruments of the symphonic orchestra with each instrument representing a different character in the story.

In Term 1 2017 the Illawarra On Pointe Concert Orchestra visited schools in Nowra, Wollongong and the Southern Highlands, playing for just shy of 2,000 students from K-Yr 7.
